At Diamond Wood Community Academy, our vision, “A place to grow, a place to shine", is at the heart of everything we do. As governors, we are dedicated to supporting this vision by helping to create a nurturing, inclusive, and ambitious environment where every child can develop with confidence, curiosity, and joy.

We work in partnership with the Head of School, staff, and wider school community to ensure that the school is well led, well managed, and always striving for excellence. Our role is to provide strategic oversight, ensure accountability, and champion the very best outcomes for all children.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow in a safe and stimulating setting, and to shine in their unique way. Through our work as governors, we aim to support and sustain a school culture where every child is valued, supported, and celebrated.

Local Academy Board Membership

Our Executive Headteacher, Mrs Summers, and our Head of School, Mrs Price, are responsible for meeting with the governors regularly for a formal local governing body meeting.
