Services and Support for Families
At our school, we understand that families may need support at different times and for different reasons. We are committed to working closely with parents and carers to ensure children and families receive the help and guidance they need.
Below, we will list a range of services, organisations and resources that we have come across which may be helpful and supportive to families. This list will continue to grow as we learn about new services and opportunities for support.
We Are Here to Help
While this page includes useful information, please do not feel that you need to manage things alone. We encourage families to speak to us early — no concern is too small, and often early support can make a big difference.
You are always welcome to come and speak to us directly:
-
Mrs Rorrison, our Safeguarding and Inclusion Officer, has a wealth of knowledge and experience and can offer guidance and support.
-
Mrs Lyons, our SENDCo, is also available to provide advice and support around additional needs.
-
All staff in school are approachable, knowledgeable and happy to help. They can listen, offer reassurance, and point you in the right direction for further support if needed.
If you would like to talk to someone, please speak to the school office or your child’s class teacher, who can help arrange a conversation with the most appropriate member of staff.
Safeguarding
If you have any safeguarding concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing, please speak to a member of staff as soon as possible. We have a duty to act in the best interests of children and may need to share information with appropriate agencies to ensure children are safe.
All conversations will be treated with sensitivity and respect. Information will only be shared on a need-to-know basis, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
Working in Partnership
We believe that the best outcomes for children come from strong partnerships between home and school. If you have any concerns, questions, or feel you may need support, please speak to a member of staff — we are here to help.
